Flavor text Generation VIII If the Pokémon uses moves that make direct contact, it can attack the target even if the target protects itself. Generation IX If the Pokémon uses moves that make direct contact, it can attack the target even if the target protects itself. Champions When the Pokémon uses contact moves, it can hit even targets that are protecting themselves, dealing 1/4 of the damage that the move would otherwise deal. Everything aside from the target's protective effects is still triggered.

Unseen Fist (Japanese: ふかしのこぶし Invisible Fist) is an Ability introduced during Generation VIII, in The Isle of Armor. Prior to Generation IX, it was the signature Ability of Urshifu.

Generation VIII to IX

Unseen Fist causes contact moves used by the Pokémon to hit targets through protection moves at their full damage, except Max Guard. This applies even if the user is holding Protective Pads, but does not apply if the user is holding a Punching Glove, as it turns punching moves into non-contact moves.

Pokémon Champions

Moves affected by Unseen Fist that hit targets through protection moves will now only deal 25% of their original damage.

Trivia

• Due to a glitch, Galarian Slowking transferred from Pokémon GO to Pokémon HOME using the GO Transporter gained Unseen Fist from June 11 to December 14, 2022. This glitch was subsequently resolved, and any Slowking in or deposited into HOME with Unseen Fist will have their Ability corrected to Curious Medicine.
